Carey Mulligan was the picture of happiness yesterday as she strolled in NYC on the arm of her rumored boyfriend, Eddie Redmayne. The fellow Brits have apparently been friends for years, and even presented a statue together at the 2009 BAFTA Awards. Eddie, who spent most of last year on Broadway starring in the critically acclaimed play Red, was on the big screen recently starring alongside Kristen Stewart in The Yellow Handkerchief. He also has a fun role opposite Michelle Williams in their upcoming Marilyn Monroe movie called My Week With Marilyn. Carey Mulligan seems to love a good Twilight connection, as she was also romantically linked to Robert Pattinson’s best friend Tom Sturridge.
